Tributes:
“Yesterday, I lost an old friend. Ron Gaddis was the bass player, frontman, and backup singer for George Jones and the Jones Boys for a long time. He had George’s phrasing down pat.
We toured together in the 80s, and both bands became good friends. The picture on the left is me with the Jones Boys in Ireland. (Ron is 5th from the left)
“Note; When you put all of Jones’ and Watson’s band on the same plane to Europe, it was going to be a memorable trip”. LOL
We shared a lot of great times on stage and off, and we had each other’s back.
Rest in Peace, old friend.”
